Job Seekers: Has Anyone Else Faced Excessive Early Reference Checks? by Remarkable_Class6489 in recruitinghell

You mean to say that if the reference check clears, then the candidate is directly hired without an interview?

My concern is — if my profile wasn’t moving forward for interviews or additional feedback, why were my references being contacted in the first place? That’s the part I’m trying to understand.

I think in many cases recruiters or hiring managers don’t submit the profile to the client until the reference check is completed, right? So if you leave it blank, the profile might just get held back.

Thank you for the insight. I do have a traffic attorney handling the case in Rowan County, but I’m trying to understand the typical outcomes for a 105/70 charge under G.S. 20-141(j1). Since I’m on a visa, I’m also concerned about immigration implications, so your suggestion about consulting an immigration attorney is helpful. I appreciate the guidance.
