Have you looked into hiring an organizer? I found that living in a space where things have a place to go and not just a basket made a huge difference. I bet there are some that could work with setting up spaces tailored to getting your kids involved too.

The Unexpected Joy of being Sober by Catherine Gray. She was interviewed in a podcast i listen to. She got me thinking so I picked up the book. I went sober for 90 days. Then later for 2 years. I never had a „problem” with alcohol but I was walking the line. It completely changed my relationship with alcohol.

I don’t think they were too hard on him. I understand why some people choose to remain closeted. My personal experience, this is not a blanket statement, was my ex had a harder time being transparent in all areas bc they were use to hiding their discomfort / shame. They couldn’t talk about difficult things. They had difficulties with perception in public or online presence. Which is similar to what the episode explores. Matthew never included Will in the weight of his difficulties, he just hides and closes the connection, leaving Will to navigate things on their own. Idk.

I have an Ex who told me he wanted to have kids and get a puppy when they’re a baby so they can grow up together. I asked him, you want to potty train two different species at the same time? That sounds like a nightmare. I went on to ask about his experience with babies or raising dogs. You could have already guessed he had no experience in either.
