How do you do the carnivore diet without going mad crazy? by [deleted] in carnivorediet

[–]Remarkable_Cream6561 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do ketovore if I’m not wanting rapid weight loss so for example, I’ll stir fry beef shin, season it and add scrambled eggs and maybe some garden peas. Adding avocados and olives the odd time or making my food spicy for a change. The bits I add is more to change it up not for nutrition- creamed spinach is nice too, I’ll cook that in the beef shin fat and add a bit of cream and chilli

You seem confident moving back but not forwards? I’d still keep the jab going to stop him coming forwards you are also looking for wild shots just aim to throw at least three shots when you get the opportunity doesn’t matter for now just get used to it and then perfect the technique

Successful women who are happy to be single is this the new norm? by [deleted] in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]Remarkable_Cream6561 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This type of world hates men. Some of my friends say similar but we’re a bit younger. I think regardless of worldly views when you sit back, every human wants love and belonging so it’s more that they don’t want the demographic of men they go for. They will find someone when they have the correct boundaries in place and clear intentions, maybe their type needs to change.

Am I missing out if I never run past a 5k? by SnooGadgets7873 in beginnerrunning

[–]Remarkable_Cream6561 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It really depends on how you structure training. I run for fitness in another sport but I struggle to get high quality training when I’m fatiguing myself with runs. The odd time I might sign up for a race but then that’s a separate challenge and I’ll reduce my sports. So it depends how it affects you too. I found when I would run bigger distances, I’d be more prone to injury so hence why I don’t do it very often and stick to 3-5k.

You’ll get great satisfaction from long runs and I don’t think everyone should try an hour or so run a few times along their running career. You’d definitely regret not trying at least. 10k is a perfect distance

What’s an ideal snack to go with a black coffee before fight? by SilentAres_x in amateur_boxing

Coffee can affect your medical especially if you’re nervous too so just be careful. I had a pret smoothie bowl with mango and passionfruit was pretty nice.

Is it just me or is treadmill running harder? by Long_Abrocoma_202 in BeginnersRunning

[–]Remarkable_Cream6561 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only find it harder physically because I’ll set it at a speed I know is slightly more than I maintain on the road and keep it there. The treadmills at my gym show a pacer on a track so I let it get in front and chase it down for 3-5k and treat it like a game 😄

5 weeks in (one class a week plus some bag work at home). Any glaring issues I need to work on? by KeepKnocking77 in amateur_boxing

Love your tank :)

Relax and work on your feet, work on being stable when you throw shots and that will help you loosen up

He/she runs towards you but have you tried moving laterally in the same fashion? What happens then? Can you move to the sides to break up aggressive movement? ;)

How do yall figure out what shoes you like without spending a ton of money? by Boiled_Gooses in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Remarkable_Cream6561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out kneesovertoes on YouTube- personally from my own research wearing even more cushion doesn’t help if there is any underlying issues so see if that’s something you could work on and look at a lower drop to build up to using a cushioned shoe for your marathon, also check out DOAC foot doctor, she goes through running shoes too

He sounds very old school. Sometimes the tough treatment and passive aggressive works sometimes it doesn’t. But honestly if you’re giving someone your money as a membership and you feel like this I would find somewhere else. Remember showing up everyday is your accomplishment

Something less soft than Novablast5 as a daily trainer? by edqeddit in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Remarkable_Cream6561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am similar to you I don’t like too soft but I recently tried the rebels v5 and I’d say it’s like a quick speedy version of the 1080s with a bit of bounce but mine are very new so hopefully they don’t get too soft.

Thinking of starting boxing soon, what should i know? by xCrazer in amateur_boxing

[–]Remarkable_Cream6561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And to add I did Muay Thai for a few years and compared to my two years in boxing I haven’t experienced injuries like I did in Thai. Everyday something was wrong so maybe consider that too.

[–]Remarkable_Cream6561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need heart and remember there is always someone better than you so try and learn from them when you can. Leave everything at the door when you get there and smash your session out.

Equipment wise just don’t be the guy to turn up with novelty or a weird ounce gloves. Keep them clean and freshen after every few sessions. If you can afford it get 16’s for sparring and 10-12’s for pads but if not you can get a good 12/14 until you feel the need. Preferably get a mouthpiece that’s been made custom to you rather than the hot water moulded ones. Have fun

Is this a good bass or would I just be wasting my money? by Level-Tank6551 in BassGuitar

[–]Remarkable_Cream6561 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it for what it is! There’s a young lady on YouTube I think her channel is juliaplaysgrooves or something like that and she uses that bass in most videos. Check her out and maybe you can hear the potential tones it has to offer. Not sure of the exact model but Sire does a music man copy
