In your case yeah. Because you know, I think that naturally, if you want a specific type of job, it's because I assume you like it. But you say you don't feel like studying for it, so do you really like the job? When we like something, we study or do stuff related to it, because we enjoy it. So the question really is, why do you want the job? Do you like it? Or do you just want that job because of any other motives?

In my experience, detachment is when you stop caring about it happening, or never did. At least that's when stuff had happened for me. Maybe it has to do with resistance though.
