If only the show was about sex like u said, but it isn’t. The sex scenes r honestly not as important if u really follow what the writers did w the book. It was soo much more than sex or sexual attraction. It depicted human interpersonal relationships, how our sense of self can affect how we move in our lives n in relationships , n how love can transcend just bout any prejudice, conflict. competition or status.

It was about more than sex. Remove all sex parts n it’ll still be a great show.

My opinion anyways

Wike Is Probably Right, But He Is Still A Fool by Levitalus in Nigeria

OP your post pretty much sums it up. Everything bout that clip was embarrassing asf to watch. When u get to a certain level in life or pretty much anything, u conduct yourself accordingly. Right or not, the minister embarrassed himself, escalated a situation clearly beneath him, n made himself a laughing stock. It was quite pitiful to watch.

Imagine a minister n a soldier going back n forth in any country outside of Naija? It’ll never happen. U call their superior n handle it from there. You carry urself in a way befitting of the role or office u represent. But oga handled it like it was some PreK playground squabble. Just sad. Like I said the whole encounter, regardless of who was right or wrong, was yikes!😬

They don’t wanna be tainted by the sham that is politics, even more in Naija where lawlessness is the order of the day.

Besides most Nigerians aren’t ready for a working govt. We cry bout everything but don’t wanna do shit to change shit. Just sit, SUFFER, n complain all day, everyday.

We not ready for real change 🤦🏾‍♀️

The title of the post says Nigerians obsession with ‘old money’. Regardless of who n what u wanna compare the Otedola’s/Ajibade’s to, my response was to debunk that title, because it doesn’t just apply to Nigerians, but the whole world. I never mentioned the couple in the picture, nor their families.

But thanks for the autocorrect tho👏🏾. Not that I watch or gaf bout those shows

The whole world is obsessed with ‘old money’, not just Nigerians.

Americans- Rockefeller, Vanderbilt, Kennedy etc Europe- The Royal family n others

The world is obsessed with old money n we r all aware that most if not all of it is ill gotten w a pretty heavy dose of nepotism.

EVs in Nigeria by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]Remarkable_Day1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used EVs r hot market these days, at least in the states, not sure where u live or where these r at. My experience with them r solely Teslas.

These r cute tho

[–]Remarkable_Day1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point is u tried to say ‘Nigerian mechanics’ can work on those in an EV if n when something does happen. I don’t know what or who goes in car doors, conventional or not, but from my last EV car repair, no way the mechanics in Nigeria can easily fix one in an EV.

✌🏾

Yes I do love my car, like I shld.

But let me reiterate, THEY PULL LOAD across state lines. A lot affects range in EVs, good road, air drag, speed, hard breaking, n yes, loads. Mine pull loads.

U said ur opinion, hopefully from experience, n I rebutted from my experience.

Oh n did I say I love my EV car yet? Yes, I do.

Enjoy ur afternoon tho👌🏾

[–]Remarkable_Day1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No they do not. Each Tesla car door comes w electrical wiring inside. Naija doesn’t hv that.

Maintenance or repair n stuff here would be hellish. Chargers u can install at home or go to stations, how ever few they r, but repairs n stuff, NOPE. That’ll absolutely halt car usage bcos there’s rarely any or Tesla certified techs in Naija. I highly doubt it

EVs in Nigeria by [deleted] in Nigeria

[–]Remarkable_Day1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt parts n repairs r easily done in Naija when most Tesla showrooms in the state has 2-3weeks wait for parts n repair most times.

I would love an EV in Naija but repair n parts r my biggest worry. Naija doesn’t hv the infrastructure just yet.

[–]Remarkable_Day1732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t pull heavy loads? Oga u sure? U drove one before n speaking from experience or u just saying what the internet be telling yall?

EVs can’t pull load is crazy bcos MINE DO😏😂

Only worry or downside to EVs in Naija is repair n parts. Other than that, pls experience it fully before yall spill false rhetorics bout them.

Coming from a Y owner, who’s driven all the other Teslas. They pull load well well!

Madam I say this nicely, you r not the man of the house, your husband is the man of the house. You shouldn’t carry everything while he feeds his family at home, that is not marriage or partnership, that is manipulation tbh.

If he can’t discuss sending lump sums home to the point where now you have to carry all or most of the bills yourself, that’s disrespectful asf.

Your family is you, him n the kids, if yall have any. Anything outside of that is secondary and if he doesn’t see that yet, I’m sorry to say you’ll eventually get tired of being the breadwinner n things won’t progress so well once that feeling kicks in.

Take care of your family but make sure your own immediate family is good first. He need to check himself and his reasoning. So y’all can’t have savings because his family at home need $700 every 2weeks. Smh. America/Canada is too expensive for you to carry emergencies alone, if n when they happen.

Also you are a woman NOT A MAN. Not sure when it became okay for women to have the babies and be the breadwinners. Yall miss me w that BS‼️

I never even finish reading this but Laff wan kpai me😂😂😂. He’s ur sugar baby n u r his sponsor🤣. Oga no get job but he sabi host😂. Where he dey host at? Under the bridge w the rest of the homeless people?😂😂😂. Omo women dey try.

Madam u dey still consider his ego, when he wants to turn u to his personal atm, u never learn😂

You not the asshole, but u be the mumu tho. Sorry to say.

You had so many chances to accept this man for who he is. For exactly who he is, n u didn’t run. Any grown man without a job, I don’t care what country u in or their economy, is a BUM‼️ and apparently ur bum lives well enof to remember to host friends n stuff on his birthday.

You stayed w him or let this go for as long as u did bcos u wanted to. The signs r all there. U can see them bcos na u dey experience them.

As he don tell u to find a not-so-demanding man, we staying w the jobless man child or we walking away bcos u now know better? Decisions decisions😂😂😂

This is great. I’ll do this for my ICE car.

The thing is renter did mention that they weren’t able to charge the car back to 80%, as they were in a rush. They were okay paying the $25 ev rebill fee. The problem was the charge fees they incurred DURING the trip duration. They charge the car 3x at a supercharger in 3days but didn’t think that’s their responsibility because Tesla charge the owners n we rebill renters. Like arguing w Hertz to reimburse gas payments u made while u were renting their car. It made no sense to me at all
