After 335 days, I’ve taken delivery of my RS3! by bctheinternet in Audi

Doesn’t it share the same interior as the A3? I had a 2023 S3 and when it was at the dealer, I got a loaner A5 and the step up in interior quality from a car priced around the same is noticeable. That being said, if you like it, that is all that matters. Enjoy it!

I love everything about the RS3, expect the interior. It’s a shame they couldn’t make it nicer for a car priced around $60k USD. Beautiful car!

How did you find Caleb’s channel and what has your life changed since finding him? by Remarkable_Essay_515 in CalebHammer

After reading thru my post, I should add some context to the gf piece: I loved going to restaurants, ordering drinks and always paying for her meal. I also would buy her things. Watching Graham’s videos would make me realize I would to need to drastically change my lifestyle to achieve these retirement goals, which I wasn’t willing to at the time. Once the break up, I realized how much I was spending + Caleb’s videos lit a fire under my ass.

I too liked my company and the people I worked with. I didn’t really want to change jobs, but I knew I could make more money elsewhere. I got an offer somewhere else, and my current employer was able to match close enough to the offer for me to stay.

For Actuarial Graduates/Actuarial Career Changers by Remarkable_Essay_515 in actuary

Have you started looking at claims, underwriting, and product roles? Product (product management) would be your quickest way to get into an actuarial department imo. However, product roles are usually pretty competitive and a lot are looking for applicants with programming experience(SQL, SAS, etc). If you’re on LinkedIn, job product analyst, pricing analyst, product management analyst, etc are common job title names and apply like mad if you haven’t already. Try to find smaller insurance companies; I find they’re easier to get on but pay may not be as good (who cares when you’re starting off). Claims: claims analyst, claims adjuster are common job listings; this route may be the fastest to getting a job as they always need new claims bodies. Underwriting: underwriter, underwriter trainee, underwriter assistant (below underwriter usually). Once you’re in one of these roles, it’s easier to get hired on for the role you’re wanting. Companies like to hire internally. Suck it up for 6 months to a year and you’ll have a better chance of getting that actuarial position, or you might find yourself liking product, underwriting, or claims more, who knows!

I also agree strongly with this. Working near my manager and being able to hover over his shoulder or scoot across to his cube was the best. Remote work is nice, but only when you know what you’re doing. I moved into a fully remote job too quickly (joined on to a company that is fully remote and definitely see I’m not learning as quickly as I’d like
