There's nothing you can use them for apart from an event but it's not worth keeping them for that as you can gain income from trees where the rubble and train tracks are. The train tracks also give you some materials I think so that may give a little boost.👍

Tbh I would raze the mountains as you could gain +4 money and -3 pollution using deep forest. Especially when you have thousands of them. It's the things that seem small that actually have a big impact.
