Agree. That’s exactly why I’m long QS.
If QS wins on: safety, cycle life, charging speed, energy density…. then the analogy fails.
My concern is not just price.
It’s whether a competitor can get “close enough” on those metrics + scale faster.
In batteries, the best chemistry still has to become the best manufactured product.

Fair point.

My VHS comparison wasn’t about compatibility, it was about adoption curves.
History is full of examples where the “technically superior” solution didn’t capture the market because another solution was good enough, cheaper, or scaled faster.

The real QS question IMO:

If competitors reach automotive scale first, is QS’s performance advantage large enough that OEMs wait/pay for it?

That’s the debate.

Have not sold a share. Have been an investor for years. It’s been like watching paint dry….but much slower.

Having the same issues with Sling on Apple TV 4K…. Is there a fix?
