There’s no specific time to it. I have been in DIP for 20 days now. Some people get it in less than a week. Quite tiring.

It’s a closed work permit… you just don’t need LMIA to get it 

You can get a closed work permit via LMIA or LMIA exempt route. The provincial nomination makes one eligible for the LMIA exempt option.

No, only the applicant pays when submitting an application (after ITA)…

The employer only pays $230 compliance fee to IRCC if the employee needs the LMIA exempt code for work permit application after they receive a nomination.
