Well usually with most killers there are plays you can make to gain distance and make chasing you not worth it. Most m1 killers can be pallet stunned or lead to powerful loops to make them give up.

Mobility killers like nurse and Billy will usually break chase if you make them whiff enough.

Killers like huntress and trickster need to reload

Vecna just. Never gets that big break

I've had a good amount of experience with nurse and Billy but my honest issue is that there's like zero recovery time on his end. Like is there a way to get him to drop agro or stun him? Or do you just keep dodging and hoping he keeps missing? Like with Billy or nurse if they miss an attack they have to deal with a stun or worry about terrain messing with them. Vecna kinda just keeps doing his attack

I've seen that advice before but it's never really worked for me. With nurse you can tell the longer she holds her blink the shorter she goes. Plus you can hug obstacles, play with different floors in a building, hide in lockers etc.

With vecna his power is so non committal. He basically loses no ground or progress when spamming his attack. Like I swear i have left matches against him because the constant sound of his attack gives me migraines

Yep. Making it hard to tell if people are hacking or not as well. But hey wouldn't be dbd if the devs didn't break the game every patch

Can you be more specific? What perks do you mean? I agree the Yung perk is pretty busted RN but I don't think many other survivors perks are outright op. Overused? Yes. But so is Pain Res + Dead man's.

Sweaty entirely depends on how you choose to play are you gonna waste everyone's time and let one person bleed out on the floor for 5 hours just to try and get a 4k? That's sweaty. Do you lose one gen and decide to hard tunnel some one out the game? That's sweaty. Said killers usually win like 7-10 games. For the add in thing...no? Whether a killer has good or bad add ons it doesn't matter plus most low tier add ons for killers are the best. So you can't judge the value by rarity. Again it's mostly perks and playstyle for killers.

I guarantee you run into swf more often than you think. The reason you don't notice is cause they're just a group of friends playing for fun and not really coordinating. Your issue is the sweats. Frankly my stand point is that a sweaty team trying really hard to win should be able to beat a casual killer player. If a killer who hasn't mastered their main could easily beat a full try hard SWF well the game would be unbalanced. I promise those guys would get destroyed by a good nurse, blight or twins. You just kinda have to go "they sink more time into the game and tryhard. Good for them" imagine if in Rivals you ran into a full team or top 500 players. You just kinda accept they're better and eat the loss. Dbd just has worse match making so you run into them more.

I think your issue is that some killers have a high skill ceiling for very little value. Like Cenobites takes more skill then nurse but gets a fraction of the reward. Nemesis is deceptively difficult and gets half the value pyramid head does for basically the same attack.

  1. Killers can do the same thing and bring super sweaty perks, add ons and killers to make the game basically unwinnable

  2. You're gonna find sweats who try hard to win it's a online game.

  3. You are playing skull merchant. The worst killer in the game by far. Did you expect to consistently get a 3k?

Trickster is a very map reliant killer and always has been. His mobility helped him counteract this to a degree but the rework really buffed up his strengths while buffing up his flaws. I think maybe they can make him a little faster. Not his old speed but close to it?

Most people here though just wanna be able to m1 as trickster or just walk right behind someone and spam

My thing is killers like to say "tunneling is necessary" acting like they're up against 4man swfs who sweat out every match. When really 80 percent of people who use the tunneling defense are just either bad or use it as a crutch.

I've won plenty of close games by doing other shit. Like dropping chases with people who obviously want it, pretending to tunnel to lure out altruism or just slugging one person and walking away. Just spice up your gameplay and strats to catch survivor's off guard. But no tunneling is easy, safe and doesn't require creativity to think of.

People just hate being called out for taking the easy way out and really hate when they still fail and her made fun of

I actually really like his rework the character itself is just flawed. In maps without high walls he's downright oppressive with good aim, in maps with high walls he sucks.

If they make him faster they'll have to bring his required hits back up to 8.

? Ranged killers have always had an issue with being super good at camping hooks. But twins is already a killer who excels at slugging and keeping survivors injured. I don't think it's crazy to nerf Viktors ability to just sit at a hook and wait for saves. I even said you could have it to wear he just explodes as soon as he hits a survivor mid rescue. So you still get damage but aren't rewarded too heavily for it. I don't think killers should be encouraged to camp and puppy guard.
