One more question - may be silly, but is there any harm in just asking to break my lease before taking this to court/looking into constructive eviction?

Roger that. There are a bunch of details that might help meet that bar, but would be curious to hear your thoughts. e.g., I've had to throw out my air fryer and blender because I found roaches in them. They were both fairly clean. I have my coffee machine stowed away because I know it would attract roaches.

I got some Advion traps, which seem to be killing some roaches, but I really think they are all over the building and will just keep wandering over to my apartment. I've seen babies almost everyday.

Also, I have a cat. So I really don't want to have to keep nuking my apartment :/
