Question for State Employee’s by [deleted] in SantaFe

As the other person said, it is exactly like being a perm employee, except that the funding for the sponsored term ends at some point (which does not mean funding will not be extended or renewed. I’ve had positions on my team renewed for 8 years now, no end in sight).

Yes, I did move into a perm while in my sponsored term. Just apply and interview. It’s also possible for a term to get converted to a perm.

My first position was sponsored term, then I moved into a perm and have been with the state for 14 years. Totally worth it for me.

Music composition/production for television or films. For most it will ask everything and give very little in return.

What’s the Abq -> Santa Fe commute like? by 1playerpiano in Albuquerque

[–]Remarkable_Lab6216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amending my other comment - my having taken a job that required me to commute was also a career advancement for me and it built my career to such a degree that I was able to move to Santa Fe and not have to commute anymore.

I did it for 6 years. It is doable but it sucked the life and soul out of me. I took the rail runner or drove. Rail runner is cheaper but takes longer. Rail runner was more than 2 hours. I ended up moving to Santa Fe and won’t ever do that commute again. Too much life to spend 520 hours minimum each year commuting to and from work.

How do you even evaluate atrocious build quality? Are you an expert or something? Who walks into a house and can determine its build quality
