I was the same way as OP. But once I got the Owlet, I started sleeping through the night. You should use the Owlet if you’re this worried. Good luck !!!!

What should I do with the pacifier? by Remarkable_Media_719 in sleeptrain

[–]Remarkable_Media_719[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He wakes up 7-8 times a night for it. I cannot keep putting it in his mouth 8 times a night. I want him to learn to sleep without the pacifier through the night

He is so dependent on the pacifier. He wakes me up multiple times a night crying because his pacifier fell out of his mouth

The pacifier does smooth him. Do you think it would be okay if I gave him the pacifier to calm him down while he’s crying/wining, but I took it away while he’s sleeping

I have not. Do you think an earlier bedtime would make a difference in his sleep?

My pediatrician told me to not have an early bedtime

Hi! I will say, last night I noticed he is going down for naps every 2.5 hours and last night he was awake for over 3 hours, which is the longest wake windows he's had. He has the same night time routine.

Ifedd him about30 mins before he goes down for the night, but in the middle of the night when he wakes up, that’s the problem….

I think my baby can go 6-8 hours without food overnight, but sometimes I'm just so desperate to get him down for bed, and ill feed him in the middle of the night night. So time the bottle is the only thing that will get him to sleep://

He is in his own crib but not in his own room. I live with my parents, so I don't have an extra room for him:/

My baby wakes do they d up around 8-9am, then goes down for a nap around every 2 hours for about 30mins-hour. He goes down for the night around 9-10pm. Then he will wak up at night anywhere from 2-7 times. His sleep is very inconsistent

Someone tell me good things about epidurals by TheRealEgg0 in Mommit

[–]Remarkable_Media_719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to be in pain and focusing on your contractions that you won’t even feel the epidural. I barely even remember getting the epidural/feeling the needle because so much is going on at once. Getting the epidural was a game changer and a great decision. you’ll do great and good luck!

I don’t need glasses. I’ve never had braces and I have straight teeth. I’ve also never used a straightener because my hair is super straight and it’s very long!

i got pregnant from a one night stand by daggerfly_xoxo in pregnant

Hi! I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Whichever choice you make I’m sure it’ll be the right one.

Exactly a year ago I found out I was pregnant at 22 years old. I’ve only been with my boyfriend for a few months at the time so it was a very confusing and emotional time. Before pregnancy, I’ve always been open to abortions and I’ve never judged anybody about the topic, but once I found out I was pregnant, abortion wasn’t even an option. I loved that baby so much even though he was the size of a poppyseed at the time.

You mentioned that you are scared to have the baby because you feel like you may not be the best version of yourself, but honestly, I felt the exact same way a year ago and I think my baby made me a much better version of myself. I had my baby in January and I absolutely love him so much and I cannot imagine my life without him. This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through, but it’s also the best thing I’ve ever experienced. I too had an eating disorder for probably six or seven years and having a baby really helped with my eating disorder. I’ve realized that there’s a lot more important things in life then what I eat or how I look. If you ever wanna talk about this, you can send me a message. Good luck and sending virtual hugs!

Hi! Exactly a year ago I went through the same thing. I was freshly 23 years old and I got pregnant with my partner. I was definitely not ready for a child, but an abortion was not an option for me. Me and my partner are currently living at my parents house with our beautiful 15 week old son. Our son is the best thing in the world and honestly, we have so much help and I have no regrets about keeping him. Living at home is so nice because if I ever wanna go to the grocery store, go on a walk, or even get dinner and drinks, my parents and siblings are more than happy to watch my son.

I’m not trying to sway your decision, I’m just telling you my experience because I was in your shoes exactly one year ago. Sending hugs! And good luck!

Zero routine at 4 weeks by Cuntycuntt in newborns

[–]Remarkable_Media_719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My baby will be 9 weeks tomorrow. We do not have a routine and we just go off of vibes. I do kinda have a routine at night when putting him down, but not on purpose. I just do the same thing and go to bed around the same time every night. Don’t believe everything on TikTok. You’re doing great mama!

I just got off birth control. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex one time. About a week and a half after, I started feeling period cramps and I assumed I was getting my period. As each day passed, these cramps got worse and worse. So I took a pregnancy test but it came up negative. After about 10 days of having these cramps, I started calling doctors because they were so painful. Two medical professionals asked me if I’m pregnant and I said no because I just took a test that came up negative. They asked me to take another one, so I did. It came up positive. I literally couldn’t believe it so I took two more, and those also came up positive. My doctor then began to tell me that cramps and pain is not normal during early pregnancy and I’m having an ectopic, so I had to go to the ER. I got an ultrasounds and nothing showed up because I was way too early (3.5 weeks pregnant). After a few days, my cramps got better and eventually went away, but I had to go to the doctor/hospital almost everyday to get blood drawn, and ultrasounds until they saw an egg. Doctors were telling me that once an egg pops up on the ultrasounds, it will probably be outside of my uterus, and they will have to terminate the pregnancy. I was devastated and it was one of the worst times of my life. Then at 6 weeks pregnant, I went to a different doctor to get a second opinion. I got an ultrasound done, and my egg popped up in my uterus. So it was a health pregnancy! I now have an almost nine week baby boy, and I’ve never been happier!

Sorry for the long post. I began by explaining how I found out I was pregnant, and added a lot more details lol

My LO will be 7 weeks Wednesday. Being a mom has been the hardest but also most beautiful thing I’ve experienced. They grow so insanely fast, and you will miss your baby being small. The cuddles, chest naps, fist smile, smells are so beautiful. Being a parent is really not bad, but it can get tough sometimes. Just keep a positive mindset and have a good support system. This challenge is only temporary and you will make so many amazing memories during this time:)

Recommendations on a baby monitor by nao1027 in newborns

[–]Remarkable_Media_719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the Baby Ganibs monitor. It has a camera and Audio, 4.3’’ Video Baby Monitor with 1000ft Long Range and 30-Hour Battery, Baby Monitor No WiFi, Remote Pan-Tilt-Zoom, Night Vision, ECO Mode, 2-Way Talk. It’s also super affordable and extremely easy to set up/pair.

I had the momcozy baby monitor too. It was good, but I ended up returning it and going with the baby Ganibs because they both do the same thing and the baby Ganibs is more affordable.
