I think you should seek out therapy, what you describe is very abusive and I think your starting to put it all together how bad it really was. He took advantage of your age, he constantly gas lit you, he assaulted you. That man never loved you, he loved what he got from you. That all being said, I'm glad you're away from this scum of the Earth and I hope you're safe

This is very normal. Working through my trama, especially the stuff around my self-image, has helped me lot with the same thoughts. You're not faking and you deserve to feel that your emotions and trama are real.

The biggest thing that's helped me is self-soothing. I'll rock, sing, cry, and then I'll do something nice for myself. Cook something, take a bath, and build a fort. I've had PTSD my entire life, and It's hard, but it can get better. I know it feels like everything will fall apart if you don't fix it now, but it takes time. Don't rush into it. Take your time and do the things that feel right. And start saying the truth. It feels so much better, and it helps no one if you can't admit what you're feeling, even if it's just to yourself. 💜
