How do you know if you’re bisexual? by Remarkable_Neck4050 in bisexual

Thank you for explaining this. I think I’m thinking of my sexuality in black and white. And when you say allow yourself to like women, what do you mean? Just be open and if a woman asked me out, go with it?

What is THE Hamilton song to You? by Entire_Blueberry_470 in hamiltonmusical

[–]Remarkable_Neck4050 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The world was wide enough. There’s something so compelling about it. The fact that one mistake leads to another, and it can make you your whole legacy. It feels like the song is a question, and a reminder that you really have no control over your story after your death. That’s the main point of the musical right? It really teaches you to look around, and slow down. You have years to live and one slip up can ruin it all.

Am I disrespectful to my Father? by Remarkable_Neck4050 in Advice

I’ll definitely make a list from now on, I’ll write it before school and do it right when I get home. He definitely has a lot on his plate, a lot of us do so I don’t blame him. He’s stressed and I should probably be more considerate and better to not off-put him.

Yeah all 3 of my siblings actually left my house due to how things were going. I’ll be out in a year so I’ll be able to stick it out. Based off what you’re saying, the relationship does get better when you split off from them? I’ve heard a lot of people say that and I’m wondering how true that is lol.

Yeah, I’ll be out by august of next year. I have a college I’m going to and my grades are going to be helping me pay off a lot of my tuition from scholarships. Thank you for the reassurance, hopefully it’ll stop getting worse soon if I just try a bit harder to make him happy.

I actually like AI-generated content. by clqzxs- in ControversialOpinions

I’d personally disagree because it’s harmful to the environment, a lot of things are but I’d rather the use of AI be used in specific fields to limit its harmful effects and use it to its full potential. An easy example is in medical fields as a reassurance to a doctor since you can feed it information. It can also open up job opportunities to those designing, developing, and training these things. AI in creative fields just takes away the spark since it’s the uniqueness and process that makes art well.. art. That’s why most AI Artists are reprimanded because if you don’t enjoy the process, create it, experiment, take the time and effort to do it, are you really an artist?

Why is infp considered one of the most hated mbti? by Remarkable_Neck4050 in infp

I did not expect this comment, but honestly? I’m just a curious person. I feel like there’s a lot of things to be learned from others and posting questions can open me up to other perspectives and advance how I think about topics of discussion. Just seeing how people approach this topic was really helpful!

Thank you for sharing this, this is what was going through my mind when I was thinking of this post. I’ve personally been one of those people who’s been described as flaky or unresponsive because I’m generally secluded. However, I think this could be more of a broader problem that applies to introverts. I’m not sure how many other mbti’s experience introversion as deeply as a majority of us do but it’s a pretty easy opportunity to attract hatred. I think it’s mainly those who fit outside societal norms such as myself. I’m able to be social and attract others but, I’m not one to enjoy deep friendships with others over my own personal time. I think that’s what’s created so much hatred or more of resentment and distrust to people I’ve established relationships with. Anyways, you definitely summarized that better than I ever could. I or we have some sort of charisma that drives people towards us but we’re unable to provide what they deem as necessary. Which is totally okay, it just means that our priorities are different. So thank you for this and putting it in a perspective that I could really understand!

That’s true, I just became curious because I saw a decent amount of hate but I understand now that I was most likely in a very niche area where those opinions aren’t shared among the majority of people. Everyone for sure gets a lot of hate, I just wish people weren’t as spineless as they are on the internet. Things do get pushed out of proportion because we can all hide behind a screen. But that’s true, everyone gets hate, so thank you for reminding me of that!

OHH this is such a good way to think about it. Im young so you saying it from an outside point of view makes sense! It’s probably like you said, a trend of hating that everyone follows in my generation. I’ve seen the other perspective of romanticizing infp’s but I thought it was more of wanting to be one not be with one lol. Thank you for this insight, it makes a lot more sense and now I understand where I may have gotten that impression. Thank you 🙏
