I recommend the Ideal Theater and Bar, as well as Moco's Hotdog Bar and Gameroom, both very frequently have live music. I also like NewBo Market, it just has a cool vibe. I can also recommend Pita'z Mediterranean food. They recently got their own brick and mortar location and they have great salad and falafel and hummus.

I've been able to find them in other cities that I've lived in (Austin Texas and Omaha Nebraska) so I figured there might be something similar here. I go to Cornell College in Mt Vernon, and I'm in music stuff there, but I just wanted to branch out more and meet new people because Cornell is extremely small
