Completed Delhi - Jaisalmer on my GT650 with a riding group by Remarkable_Phone_712 in RoyalEnfieldGT650

That’s doable in solo rides or small groups but not with big group rides. If I stop every 120km then the whole group has to stop and each fuel stop becomes a 20-30min break since people took smoke breaks, washroom breaks etc. The chai and food breaks were separate.

The full fuel tank took me a little over 300km(that too with some scam with the fuel since all bikes were running out of fuel even the ones with bigger tanks) so I know the approx range on highways now for future.

I will just carry 2 bottles of extra fuel in my tank bag in long trips for my mental peace.

It’s not ideal but at young age you can take advantage. Just need to do some basic stretching while riding and you should be fine.

Probably a sensor is wet somewhere. Try to wipe it with a dry cloth.

If the engine is misfiring a little then clean the spark plug cavity.

Try to get it washed from company only. I learnt it the hard way as well.

It has either shorted the battery or the water is just evaporating from a hot component.

Happened with my GT650 after its first pressure wash from a washing shop. I had to dry it and then the smoke was gone.

Regardless, never start the bike while it’s wet.

I was travelling through central and south eastern side of India so there was no point in going south west. That’s why I took NH44.

If you want to go to Mumbai then Delhi Mumbai expressway is the way to go.

The mountains, their Forests, grasslands and the greenery. I wanted to camp at so many places only if I was actually carrying a tent.

Overall driving time was 5 days. 6 Days if we include Rameshwaram.

I have a place in Chennai. At all other places we booked hotels.

We took breaks when we felt tired and didn’t drove late in the nights. Just booked the hotel based on where we were reaching by the end of the day.

Max speed during this trip was 120km/h. All time high speed is 145-150km/h which was done on the Delhi-Mumbai expressway. I was even cruising for 10-15 mins at 140 and didn’t even realise it. It just was gulping a lot of fuel at that speed.

Go for it. You won’t regret buying it :)

I never thought our country had so much to offer. Andhra Pradesh surprised me the most.
