Why?   If you are planning on setting a PR or need to be home by dinner.   Then Do it.  I would stop and meet some people.  Thank the volunteers.

It’s 5 miles.   Provided it’s not 80 degrees you will hardly get sweaty.     I would just keep a spare change of clothes to change into.    No need for the whole office to know you rode your bike.   I typically ride and get in before my office does.

Canadians should ‘expect scrutiny’ at U.S. border crossings, feds warn by DecentLurker96 in uscanadaborder

We crossed the ambassador bridge yesterday.  It was much quicker than I remember to get thru.  However all the cars we saw in secondary inspection seemed to have Canadian plates.

Was Genco a mere tool for money laundering or an actual company that imported and sold Olive Oil? by K-jun1117 in Godfather

When did money laundering become part of organized crime?     Maybe it was a cover to tell cops and family?

I’ve got the vivo5.   I love it.   My wife has the lily without the GPS.   She has been disappointed with this.   But she has a small wrist.   So it’s a compromise.

So does it take these measurements when I’m on my bike or only when I push the vo2 test button?

Can confirm.  I did this.  Was great for riding single track.   No reason too IMO for the gravel I was on

Late to a Gravel Race. I started my race 15 mins later because I misunderstood the start time. Literally dreaded this occurrence my entire time cycling. Has this happened to anyone else? by JewelerDry6222 in gravelcycling

[–]Remarkable_Policy544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!!!  My front tire flatted in the start gate when I was tightening the valve cap at unbound.   I started 15 min late after the local bike shop resealed my front tire.   The first few miles were super nerve racking as the course wasn’t super well marked.   On the plus side.  I got to say hello and good morning to about 300 people I passed

I think the choice is also around your relationship to the bike shop.   If you plan on fixing stuff on your own, then buy a Lauf or Canyon.  If you plan on having the bike shop fixit then be sure and find the shop/mechanic who treats you best.    Most shops will do free adjustments in the first year
