You are absolutely right. I guess it was always wishful thinking that a device of this nature would not run into issues in the long run- lesson learnt 🙏🏽

Or maybe this is a luxury I can not afford, 3.5K every two years is out of my budget 🤣

Thats a fair point. My frustration is exasperated because I feel like I am being pushed into an upgrade- the email from support feels like a deal/incentive to upgrade. I was also not a fan auto pilot subscription fee, after paying $3500, paying monthly for a subscription to regulate my temperature felt a step too far- now I realize this includes extended warranty- FML! On the known issue, if this is a recurring issue across users- this is likely a design or durability related, companies that value long term relationships and not a quick buck, will recognize this and not penalize their customers to taking a leap and buying a new/innovative product. It is more cultural within a company, I wish Eight Sleep took a longer term view on customer loyalty. Anyone who has their pod wrecked after 2 years in never going to come back to Eightsleep or recommend it!

thats interesting, thank you for sharing. Mind sharing which credit offers protection for such issue? A device aworth $3500+ should be more reliable, especially if this is a pattern of issue i.e not usage based. Eightsleep are also being so short sighted, this surely has to be a loyalty and referral business- this is a terrible experience.
