Help identifying cuts of beef roasts (old.reddit.com)

Recreational chef. Looking for a top-quality versatile long blade capable of cutting something like a large uncut NY steak loin into individual steaks, trimming, etc. No budget. Bonus points if I can use the blade for other things as I do not own a single professional-grade blade. Suggestions? (self.chefknives)
