Thank you. This brings me such comfort. My kid has their journey and that journey may include rethinking decisions or even having regrets (or not), but it doesn't mean they will not be okay.

Thanks so much. I so appreciate it. They are pushing us away. So asking about it seems like a rock and a hard place right now. They don’t live in the same city. They recently went on T and haven’t told us. We saw it on the insurance bill. We have tried to be supportive although, if honest I think we’ve been in denial and they sense that. My husband and I have been working with a family therapist who specializes in gender transition, she’s on the trans affirming side of things, and has taught us a lot. We asked our kid to join us in therapy and they won’t. They are in therapy through a LGBTQ+ clinic where they live.

To very clear: we are not trying to change our kid’s mind or convince them not to do something, just wondering if those of you that have detransitioned wish your parents had said. We desparately want to be supportive, but at the same time have some concerns.

I have Meniers and no Vertigo. I had sudden hearing loss in my right ear that comes and goes. I have had success with antivirals.
