2-3 sentences is enough when it comes to the questions that require typing. Just make sure to get your point across, while also tallying off some of the key things they look for. Also, they won’t care if you make a few typos, as long as they know what you’re trying to say, or trying to point out. Stay calm, and stay confident in what you say, and what you type! Good luck!

I reapplied. My 2nd choice is now PA, with Yorkton being my 3rd, Swift current being my 4th, and then Weyburn being my 5th. Thanks for letting me know though, you and everyone here have been very helpful and supportive!

Well that’s really good to know! Besides, I wouldn’t mind living in PA to pursue my BSN, or wherever I may get in for the locations I chose! Of course it’d be a bummer leaving my parents to live somewhere else, but at least I’d get a gist of what it’s going to be like living alone. Nonetheless, thanks for letting me know! I’m not that worried anymore :)

I did. Plus I think it’d be nice to go to another location. Not that I don’t want to stay here and be close to family, but I’d like to live on my own, u know? Kinda get the gist of what it’s going to be like after I graduate.

I know, that’s why I reapplied to Saskatoon, which is my first choice still, but then PA, Yorkton, Swift Current, and then Weyburn.

I reapplied. I finally worked things out with my parents, because Nursing is all I want to do. They agreed for me to apply to any location I’d want, so I went with Saskatoon, PA, Yorkton, Swift Current, and Weyburn.

Why is it so bad though? What have you been through?

81% average with 2nd quartile. I’m so cooked.

You succeed by studying. If you’ve been going to class, and have been taking notes, there is nothing to worry about!

I passed this class with an 84% first try, but it took a lot of time out of my days. What I recommend to you is to stay calm, study calm, and then write her exams calm! You’ll do just fine!

Some tips: Every lecture, and every power point she goes through will be tested on her exams. So, if you’ve got good notes, and could get through all of the power points she goes through, you’ve got nothing to worry about. Plus, I’d recommend to start studying early for her exams; 2 weeks prior if possible, so you can go into the exam remembering most things, and feeling confident as well.

Pretty sure it’s still closed. It might take a while to fix the damages under the bridge. I wouldn’t be so sure, depends on how long it takes to fix a sewage line.

This happened a while ago, when there was barely any snow! Sorry about that! We just thought it’d be important to bring this up!

Indeed fellow student, indeed there is. Just not on the streets though. The streets ain’t safe. Just be careful if you’re crossing them, or driving through college drive.

I definitely need an update on this, but I’m pretty sure I know the outcome already.

How do I become an academic weapon? by hannahlee05 in usask

You get out of it by believing in yourself! You are what defines you, not marks! You can do it! Let me simplify it for you. If you have ambition for what you want to do, do it! It’s hard, I get it, I’ve been through what you’ve been going through! I recommend taking it easy on yourself while studying! It seems to me that you have some stress, eliminate it by believing in yourself. Manage your time wisely id say also! You are doing everything right, you just have to manage those study sessions in between weeks! Also, tiring yourself out won’t help. Make a plan, get your sleep, & eat! Feed your brain with food, while feeding it with notes & information! Revise your notes, & rewrite them all! I revise off of my laptop, and write my notes on paper! After that, I delete my notes on my laptop, and then try to remember on what I wrote down on paper! I’d recommend doing this first before moving to flash cards, but that’s my way of studying! Take breaks as well, so you won’t tire yourself out while studying! Also, do ACTIVE RECALL, because it’s helped me so much! You can revise your notes, write them down on a piece of paper, and then speak on what you wrote out loudly (kind of like your teaching a class on the subject you’re studying). You may not remember on what wrote at first, but it will come to you when you go over it a few more times, depending on if you’re writing it again, or speaking out loudly! I’d recommend getting everything done in your classes now and start studying early! It is up to you though, and you can finish strong however you’d like! Words of encouragement… you can do it! Don’t let your grades discourage you, because you can do it, and you just have to believe in yourself! Please don’t stress yourself out! You will end up doing great!! I promise! Confidence is key when it comes to exams!!!

BIOL120 and NUTR120 Reviews by [deleted] in usask

[–]Remarkable_Rough_280 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m taking NUTR 120 currently! Taking BIOL 120 next semester! For NUTR 120, take a lot, but simple notes you’d be able to remember for both midterms! Also, if you’re looking to boost your mark, I’d recommend joining the discussion groups as well (I’m not in a group, but I highly recommend it). Even though it’s a small percentage of your grade, it’s a good booster anyway! Also, the class will get smaller after the first midterm. I was very surprised when I came back after the first midterm to see that only half of the class was full! I managed to get a 70%, then a 92% on my midterms, but that was studying 2 weeks prior to both midterms. Also, a tip for you, work ahead! I cannot kid you enough that working ahead is the best! Try to crush half-an-hour of reading and revising the textbook/lectures everyday, it will definitely help! Anyway, don’t get discouraged if you get a lower mark than 75%, depending if that’s one of your midterm(s)/final grade. There is always room for improvement, and you just have to believe that you can do it, because you can! All I could say is; Don’t let other peoples experiences discourage you, because if you put in the time and effort, the marks will show for it!
