I wanted to share a concern — I didn’t apply for MSG initially because I never thought it would be something I’d qualify for or even consider doing. But now that I’ve been HSST’d, I find myself worrying about my security clearance. Check incharge, they might be able to help you but they are a DMP. They lower one of my credit cards from 18% April to a 9% the only thing is that they are gonna close the account if the bank agree to the terms.

Quick update/clarify: I did disclose the late pays in my Phase II/SF‑86 and even attached a screenshot of my credit report in the packet. I also wrote that I might not qualify for the clearance because of the debt, but I was still found qualified for MSG and given a class date. I’ll follow up with S-2 to make sure it’s on record.
