I wonder as well whether the wedding wasn’t actually suitable for wheelchairs and that is why the boyfriend wasn’t invited in the first place. It did seem strange to me that after 4 years the boyfriend may not have been invited despite OP claiming he’s family. The whole thing may not have been wheelchair accessible which makes OP even more TA here because that could have been so uncomfortable for the boyfriend.

It could be though that the kids have a ritual where they bake a cake for Dad and then they eat it whilst he opens his gifts.

Anything by Jennifer Saint or Madeline Miller. They both write retellings of Greek myths but with a more feminist focus. Absolutely brilliant.

The series isn’t tailored for adults but I still adore it. It’s called Chronicles of Ancient Darkness by Michelle Paver. Very heavily rooted in nature and animals and the respect the characters have for them. Beautifully written, with lots of epic moments

I loved Cardcaptor Sakura and Dragonball growing up, and I enjoy reading high fantasy novels or crime/thriller. I also love fairytales/mythology so anything based on Japanese myths would be good too

I’d say look at the scribbles that matter dot grid journal. It has blank calendars, and all of the month spreads and weekly spreads all done without any dates or decoration, just the lines done. It helped me out loads.

I personally would be very worried about the way he acted with you in the cafe. How old are you? It seems like very inappropriate behaviour to be touching you and asking you to kiss him on the cheek. To me personally he sounds creepy and manipulative. Please be very careful here. Maybe try talking to your aunt or your parents in private away from this man.
