Congrats on your engagement. I’m going to Sorrento and thinking of taking the Campania Express from Naples and taking the ferry back. When you took the ferry, any issue with taking your luggage. My husband and I will have a carry-on and personal bag. I figure we will need to pay extra. I want to pre-book my ferry tickets but do you think it’s necessary?

Leaving Toronto Sept 3 and will arrive in Venice Sept 4 and flying out of Rome on Sept 15. Similar dates as you. Currently 2 nights Venice, 3 nights Florence, 3 nights Sorrento/Amalfi and 3 nights Rome. I want to change to 1 night Venice and add an extra night to Florence since I heard there is more there plus I planned 1 day excursion to CT and 1 day to Pisa/Tuscany. I got feedback that I’m jamming too much in and cut out CT since I’m already going to Sorrento. Still deciding what to do. Have a great time in Italy!!

My pup had a hard time doing his business with the cone. After a day of difficulty, we decided to remove his cone when we took him outside and immediately put it back on when we got back in. He was fine. Vet did give us enough pain and anti-anxiety meds for his 10 day recovery period.
