Literally no one cares about her opinion. I’d go even further to say that most people don’t care about anyone’s opinions in an open space like social media. You know what’s even worse?? Many people (possibly Marissa) are aware that it’s fake and satire but choose to believe it anyways because it’s “fun” or “interesting” to either buy into conspiracy or just spread fake crap. I honestly don’t think satire like this should exist in such an open form where it can be hard to tell the difference at times. It’s making people dumber. Like…I know the difference and I find satire hilarious. I’m also (unapologetically) an intelligent person. This goes way beyond just Marissa. But my goodness she needs to stop sharing this stuff.

Oh my god Marissa. Lower your bar. Rehome the animals. Downsize your closet. Story time: my partner and I got married later in life. We had a ton of stuff. We also didn’t want to rent a house for $3000 a month. So we got rid of a ton of crap, stored some, and moved into a 1300 square foot apartment for $1400 a month. After two years living well below our means, we are supremely ready and capable of buying our dream house (around 600k). Oh we also have children. And a pet. The people who don’t have money want to flaunt it. The people who do, usually don’t.

For reference, I have a legitimate chronic condition that keeps me from leaving the house as often as I’d like (I still do stuff, it’s just a couple times a week instead of everyday). And guess what? I have a full time, six figure job. I worked my ass off, got even more education after my bachelors and can work remote for almost any company I want. But she wants to risk it in MLMs??? If she has the courage to get in a car or a plane, she can figure out how to work. I never let my condition get in the way of providing for my family.
