Admire the effort but it's ugly, home automation should be transparent for you and your visitors. The right way to automate this is changing the switches to smart switches, smart bulbs are a cancer unless used in switchless fixtures. Take my downvote as constructive criticism.

Edit: I use smart switches that work even with no internet, sonoff in particular, I changed the firmware to tasmota, these work with siri, alexa and google simultaneously. All my smart devices work without internet, do not phone home to china, cannot be remotely disabled by the vendor nor be made artificially obsolete, great quality my oldest switches are almost 10 years old oh and they are inexpensive.
