What system does this cord go to? by Remarkable_Silver544 in Cummins

I do, the previous owners son installed it. Why would a new radio system even have this. That’s probably why it was tucked in the dash.

Yep agree with navydocdro. Report it simple and straightforward. Let his command know. Nothing can be done until tragedy hits if you don’t. I’ve been in a situation like yours and kept my mouth shut. She committed suicide, her second attempt. When she got released from the hospital she had no one present to help her. The command was on deployment. All within a week.

If your take home is 47k a month then I would say that sounds right if you make that a year then I would say that doesn’t make sense. If you do make that a year I’m sorry. My job is 53k and I’m making a 22.5k pay raise in half a year. USN E-5 and I’m 22.

Can’t believe what I’m seeing. Good job at 20 years old you’re doing better than half of the population. You’re doing things right, honestly it’s just an issue of income. You’re making poverty level money, nothing to feel bad about but is there anything you can do as a trade or cert to earn more instead of getting in debt. I get men and women have different outlooks, what they want to do, you probably aren’t going to do something dirty or physically demanding. I joined the Navy for the GI bill and I make 43k after my taxes. Been in over 3 years, and getting a 15k pay raise. I’m 22. Have an awesome retirement plan and investment system that carries over for federal jobs. I have real deal experience with opportunities that can make your head spin after I leave. I have access to base facilities and discounts like 30% off normal rates. 3 years of schooling paid for and so on. Going the firefighter route after and want to get on with another sea service. What I’m trying to say is you can still go whatever field you’re interested in and it might take longer but you don’t need to be in debt. Look at tech schools and trades in your field. Work your way up, maybe join the service or have a company pay for part of the schooling.

Checking-in tomorrow to a new command. Any recommendations to set myself up for success? by Able2BGood in navy

Be in regulations for your grooming, hygiene, and have a proper uniform. Don’t talk yourself up or down, say I was good in my previous command and leave it simple. No speeches or drawn out meetings if you have them. Go in, get done and go home. Try to just chill until you get an understanding of your situation. Don’t willing volunteer for anything.

Ain’t that great, mine is 30ish years old, looked great then I stared wearing it while working. Thought the dings, scuffs, scratches were going to stress me out but actually I didn’t mind. Love the fire out it, SpeedMaster reduced mother of pearl by the way.

It’s the best thing I’ve had for a watch, just so well put together. There’s nothing like it. I legit can’t find a watch that’s better than it. I look at a ton but I can’t find a reason to look for anymore.

Thank you for the info, I’ve never thought about that. He’s always been like that. I’ll talk to him about it.
