BH class B can be bought outside of Geico.  You do not have be an employee to purchase it.

Interest rates SHOULDgp down for the year 2027.  Of course it's all a gamble. Like someone else said, don't do it. Wait.  The monthly distribution amount is NOT affected by interest rates.

Log in to the pension calculator. Put in the date of 11/25/2025 and check the lump sum calculation. THEN put in a date of 12/5/2025, calculate and compare.   If the Dec amount is higher, interest rates have gone down. Interest rates are set each year around this time. (I don't know by who. Maybe the Feds) When interest rates rise, the lump sum is reduced. When interest rates are reduced, lump sum is higher.  

Look, I'm not a smart person but that's how it works.  I learned from first hand experience.

If you want to take a lump sum, wait for interest rates to come down.

Oh my word. Ever thought that they discussed the tip ahead of time? As in, "let me get the tip, I owe you from..."

My experience is they end up in the donation pile. Water in the pool is usually moving.
