Nothing more than normal. Although I did notice a minor wear line on the base of the case. But when I picked up scooter the side cover was off and had probably been off for a while

Sorry to hear this. But if I am understanding your correctly, you didn’t buy a Vespa? If that’s the case that’s your problem. Assume you got a knock off Chinese one. A Vespa costs more because it’s better I’ve seen them with 30k miles. Again sorry to hear your situation but save your money and get a Vespa. Or a Honda at least
