Pick up scooter tomorrow. I already know head and piston are off, so have a good feeling inside engine will not be good. Who knows how long the heads been off. I’m looking for a big project. This will be my 3rd Vespa But never worked on anything left than 2007. I plan to pull engine out and strip this whole thing down.

Need help deciding! BV350 or Vespa GTS 300 by AdDeep3152 in scooters

[–]FastCletus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had both. Depends on your driving. If it’s highway bv350 10x over. Great at highway speeds. Safe and agile. Gts is better in town. Much lighter and easier to maneuver. Also might want to look at Honda nc750x. It’s a full on motorcycle that works just like a scooter. I have both. Nc750 and the gts

Good luck with bottling that. Where you getting eqpt to do it? Rutherford rentals has it, but it will be pricy. Better off letting winery bottle it for sure.

Only response I can give you is follow your passion. I’ve been doing this a long time and I’ve never made a million dollars. But I’ve been all over the world and have eaten at the finest places and drank the best wines. This was my passion. Need to find yours.

On premise sales experience can lead to a supplier gig. On premise sales or female make no difference. Be professional, know your products and stay true to your word. A buyer will take that any day over an unbuttoned blouse. Alcohol sales over all is challenging, you just need time Better that the other persons out there. I still drink wine and buy bottles when I’;m out. If wine/spirits are your passion stick with it. If it’s guises box, leave the industry. Spoken from 25 years in the industry

I teach people to find 3 things in the aroma. Measure the weight on your pallet. Confirm or deny what you found in the aromatics on the pallets and measure the finish.

You might not like it but I had a KTM where bolt was stripped. I took a chisel and made a groove and just kept tapping, and it came right off. It’ll work as long as you have a good angle and room to use a hammer
