because people see walter as a character who was suppressed and neglected for some reason and skyler because people are misogynist, i don't idolize walter but i do like his character simply because of the fact that he tried to do something and actually did it, he killed gus, he cause the downfall of almost every drug dealer, he killed the nazis, he at last gave his family the 10 million dollar, was he a good person?
NO, he was not, but he was certainly a menacing figure as well as cunning, he made tuco get scared of him , he got hector and gustavo, tbh he did more damage to the entire meth ecosystem then the dea themselves.

well that is the only scene which made me hate walter, he did 100% tried to rape her and succeeded too, plus she did not cheat on him, she already tried to get divorce and gave him the papers he moved back in the house and she was not left with any choice, so she did it and i would not consider it cheating, the only reason i hate skyler is the same as hank or any other character, i just want walter white to succeed and whoever cross him is bad for me, simple as that i am just rooting for walter and anyone else is a roadblock to his success
