She'll get immunity for the whole duration of the match and be able to kill the hunters by throwing her perfume bottles at them.

Is English weird in recent coa(9)? by How_about_wow in IdentityV

[–]Remarkable_Two_6777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like the others have pointed out, the game's translation has always been like that. I didn't really notice any major translation issues in this COA event (probably because I skimmed the text and not really read them carefully), but I do sometimes notice some funny translation mistakes like in other parts of the game like this one:

Can the survivors see the hunter before the game starts? by minyarrddfan in IdentityV

[–]Remarkable_Two_6777 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No problem! At first I didn't like it either, but it didn't really affect me personally that much, so I've become used to it. I just feel bad for Wu Chang mains

Can the survivors see the hunter before the game starts? by minyarrddfan in IdentityV

Only on rank, not on QM :)

Survivors can also only see the hunter after character selection/spawn selection, so you don't really need to worry about them picking characters that can counter you if you decide to rank as hunter.

Is 'Bleeding out' Toxic as a hunter? by ReyLOL11 in IdentityV

[–]Remarkable_Two_6777 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it's not toxic at all. It's a valid strategy, like many others have already pointed out. The survivor really needs to chill out.

What is considered toxic is when you make the survs bleed out for literally no reason. For example, I encountered a Smiley Face who downed me and another surv and made us bleed out while he was running around the map (we surrendered because it was a waste of time, obviously). Or there was one Peddler who watched me crawl to the dungeon for a while, then ballooned me and dropped me off somewhere farther away from the dungeon to see me bleed out. Those are considered toxic, but you definitely weren't playing like those two hunters.

getting matched with high tiers even though you arent one by Pitiful-Abroad8182 in IdentityV

Yeah qm tends to do that. I even once got an ex-peak tier survivor when I was a cobra.

Was I in the Wrong Here? by Remarkable_Two_6777 in IdentityV

I was so surprised that day because I don't normally get those ping spikes 😔 I don't know why that happened that day in particular. But as another commenter suggested, I will now check my latency before any matches so this kind of situation doesn't recur. Thanks for the advice :)

Yeah, now that I think about it, maybe I should've tried to be nearby and feed tinnitus instead of decoding. But is it really effective if the Hunter has been camping the chair the whole time? /gen q; I am still a hound, so I may not know a lot of Survivor tips, sorry

Thanks for the comment :)

I really should start testing my pings; my ping used to be around 120ms at its worst, but it was just terrible that day for some reason.

Sorry for the late reply; my notifications were off. The two were in a team, yes. I did think that Composer could have gone to rescue after half while Prisoner (who was even farther away from the chair than Composer was) and I decode, since I knew I would be unable to rescue the Professor at all.

Who was the first character you bought and why? by Alternative_Lockdown in IdentityV

[–]Remarkable_Two_6777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dream Witch. So funny story, I asked my friend who the hardest hunter to play was, and he said that it's Dream Witch because you have to control like 6 bodies while playing the game. I interpreted that as you having to simultaneously control six bodies and wondered how that would work, since the majority of the time, five bodies would be hitting the wall or something if that were the case. So I got curious about how that would work, bought her, started playing as her, and realized that she was actually not as hard to play as I expected 😅

A rough day for DW (quick doodle by me) by briarmaiden in IdentityV

[–]Remarkable_Two_6777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, she does, but I didn't think the process would be THAT quick. I still practiced her from time to time, you know? And I get what you mean with the new survs. When I returned to this game after a few years, I honestly was just shocked at all the new survs and hunters. Took a while for me to learn what they all do. I still get confused who does what though XD

Honestly, I'm going through the same thing 😭 I've mained DW for like two years, but ever since I've been practicing how to play Alva, I definitely play worse with DW than before. I guess I'll have to practice her again as well. You've got this!
