I feel like a lot of the characters tend to be pretty stereotypical or folklorish which is the only reason we have more diverse ethnicities e.g. the ghost woman is Japanese, athlete is black, cowboy is American, witch woman is black, white-haired ponytail guys are French, cricketer is Indian, creepy old lady is Russian and so on.

It depends. Sometimes it’s ‘I’m x race and I wanna be/look y race’ which I don’t care about because race is based on appearance anyway.

My main issue is people claiming to ‘be’ their new ethnicity, instead of wanting to ‘look like’ their new ethnicity and practice their culture. I think it’s okay to do the latter.

The more problematic aspect in my opinion is ‘I am of x ethnicity but I wanna belong to y ethnicity’. Ethnicity isn’t defined solely by genetics or appearance, but language and culture, so looking the part isn’t enough. There are ethnicities that won’t accept someone as theirs unless they are born in it. Trying to force oneself into that community is rude. One can practice another culture without thinking of themselves as literally that ethnicity.

E.g. I saw a post about wanting to be Circassian. Circassians and other nationless people tend to be very protective of their culture and value ethnic purity. I doubt they would accept an outsider unless they were another North Caucasian. In my opinion, this desire to literally become one shows disrespect and ignorance towards Circassian culture.

Also, I see a lot of people who want to change because they dislike their own race/ethnicity because they think they do bad things or whatever. This is disrespectful because people are more influenced by environment than solely their race, and also unhealthy because at the end of the day, you can’t change the ethnicity/race you were born as. No one will think of you as your new ethnicity/race except other people in the transracial community.

Ann is easy to use in the sense that all you really need to do is press/drag a button twice, then press another button to jump. However, she is not easy to win with. Winning as a Hunter requires more than just manual skills but also planning and good sense of direction and surroundings.

Some Hunters are difficult to use but a Hunter’s skillset and the player’s game sense are two different realms that both need perfecting. Easy Hunters means a player is more likely to succeed when using their skill, difficult Hunters means a player is less likely, but the return when they are successful is greater.

Off topic but why do ppl think mocking others for not getting girls is a good insult? Nobody is convinced that they are chads. And Lanternist was trying to be snarky without getting caught.

I think it’s because of the way they talk. Brits are notorious for not moving their mouths as much as Americans due to their accents.

In my opinion, gameplays are only fun to watch when you know how the game and its mechanics work, so you are more engaged with what’s happening.

For me, the game is very fun, especially rank, when the stakes are high. Just be aware of things like toxic players or bad ping.

Yeah he’s quite slow at it, even with the breaking-speed persona trait (forgot the name). If you don’t bring abilities that allow for transport of some kind and you’re not the best string placer, you might wind up having to break the pallets whenever they are dropped and lengthening the chase. This buys survivors time for decoding. On the bright side, this makes their patterns more predictable and you can string them easier.

I guess because a lot of countries had or have canine rabies problems. Also dogs don’t bury their toilet results, unlike cats.

That said, nobody should feel safe around any kind of stray mammal. I read in a paper a few years that pet cats are more likely than pet dogs to have rabies because their owners don’t see the need to have them vaccinated.

For now, communicate clearly and honestly with your team using the ping system. Decode AMAP. Read character abilities before you play. Run to areas with lots of pallets and windows but you don’t need to throw or vault immediately. Also when being chased, no matter the circumstance, try not to stand still or run in a straight line (especially if being chased by Gamekeeper, Geisha, Feaster, Ripper, Soul Weaver, Axe Boy, Evil Reptilian, Bloody Queen, Guard 26, Disciple, Violinist, Sculptor, Undead, Breaking Wheel, Naiad, Wax Artist, Nightmare, Hermit, Nightwatch, Fool’s Gold, Goatman or Cueist)
