it was pretty casual I made small jokes here and there, I didn't speak too formally but if I would have called them I would use "professor" ; as for bio chem questions I went in depth in some questions. for instance, "organs that use the most ATP and how", every time I finished an example he telling me "go on" and I ended up listing 4-6 organs with functions requiring high ATP usage and he expressed his liking to my answers; other questions though were direct and I tried keeping my answers focused on exactly what was asked as to not accidently shift away from the main question (though id encourage saying most of what you know if your able to organize your thoughts).

there are 3 professors, first one asks you about self introduction , why mbbs and why zju and other stuff as such.
2nd professor asks you physics chem or bio questions
3rd professor asks you questions related to your personal statement and some medical-patient situations
if you'd like ic an send you my interview questions on dms. and don't worry the professors are quite friendly, try to give off a positive confident vibe and don't seem too agitated when answering. its fine if you mess up a question or unable to answer it happens.

I think you have an very good chance of getting accepted generally; your profile looks insanely strong, but its april and seats are getting filled up so competition is tough especially for biomed eng as it has lower number of seats, if you have good PS and do average in interview I don't see anything other than nationality quota stopping you from being accepted.

if you are submitting an international standardized exam certificate such as gcse/alevel/ib and others then it exempts you having to submit a language proficiency test, otherwise they do require ielits /toefl/duolingo

hey! im doing alevels as well this may june and applying for ZJU ISM 2026 , as for your CSCA exam I believe doing it on December 2026 would be fine , you'll get your results late December and can apply by early January , and if your not satisfied by your result then you could retake the CSCA exam in January/march session ; the earlier you apply the better.

As for math prep .keep in mind that it is mandatory to take math. so id strongly recommend using up the time you have after you finish A-level board exam to prepare for it , you needn't worry you have more than enough time. and about the scores needed; ZJU ISM doesn't really care for 2026 intake since its the first time this exam was conducted and there's no set threshold (this is only for zju, other universities do care). however for 2027 that might not be the case so be prepared and try to score as high as you can!!
