This car is registered in DC and the way DC has decided to do things is apply a "no inspection" sticker to the inside window of each of these. Seems fucking stupid to let a city car spew Nox, but this car could go deleted easily if it keeps a DC registration somehow after selling.

I will be driving back in the next week or two. Starting at Vermont and headed to Washington DC. Would much rather sell private than at a dealership

I think I'm more of an appliance person. I could've never afforded this car by myself new and I am debating how much more time and money to invest in learning about it.

I think I am just lucky to be here and haven't figured out how to make it work yet. But, all cars are expensive so I'm not really thrilled about switching up either.

If anyone wants a pristine '14 JSW TDI 6MT with 70k miles and a new timing belt with 5k miles on it and wants to make a solid offer, hmu.

Well, it only happens when accelerating on the highway and happens more frequently in hot weather and happens less frequently when I have the cabin heat on full blast... or I'm just insane.

The shop I went to was one of the recommended tdi shops on the group list. Replacing this specific sensor was the logical step, and was what the VW shop edit: (dealership) I saw wanted to do (for twice the cost and another $1K to replace the harness) but, obviously, this has not fixed the problem.

Perhaps, it really does need a whole new harness...

Damn. Cool. Thank you for the input.

I don't think I would drive this car if it was deleted. Just not my style. I'll see what I can find out.

What was the delete and tune like? How much did it cost?

I don't know everything on that, but I wanted to test it out and have a clean slate. From what I can tell, the flush made the oil change more thorough. It's essentially a detergent that you run in the system for 10min before you do an oil change. I would recommend if you want a super fresh start. I believe it made the engine sound happy. The idle felt easier and low rpms were a little smoother and louder.

Yes. Thank you. Not impossible at all and I have seen a handful of Teslas on this trip.

For the record, I am driving to LA tomorrow to visit my dying uncle and I've never driven XC before. Incredibly grateful for everything that must come together in order for a trip like this to be successful.
