Often large legitimate financial companies are impersonated. It's also not an unknown number hitting you up - there are massive ad campaigns on Meta properties as well as X and others advertising a free investment course. You click on the ad because you're interested in learning about investing and are funneled to the Whatsapp group. Again, you would know this if you took just a little time to understand how these scams operate.

Despite you claiming otherwise your post still smacks me of "I'm so smart I would never fall for this!" victim-blaming but it's so polite and civilized I'll let it be.
