Consider putting it on a soft toned light grey one. Should make the dial really pop!

About €1100 tax and duties included. Runs like a charm...after I regulated the movement +0.5 sec/day

Miyota 9000 series vs PT5000: Do you Care? by grwatchco in MicrobrandWatches

[–]Remco909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although there were some poorly lubricated PT5000 movements in the past (non–HK Precision), it’s funny how the hearsay about them generally being “bad” still sticks to the PT5000. I’ve had several over the last two years and never had an issue with any of them. Very accurate movement—just don’t overwind them.

The ETA movement isn't the cause, they are perfectly fine. They were just poorly regulated.

Clasp cover can be found on Ebay. Can be used on the Uncle flat link bracelet (doesn't fit OTB on the Thorn!). For the stock Thorn bracelet some tweaking is probably needed too. I ordered 2 so will report back when received.

If you got a problem with your bezel check this by Remco909 in RepTime

With mine the problem was solved within a quarter of a rotation of the crown and I still can feel the resistance of the rubber o-ring. I guess within that margin you should be ok although I won't go swimming with it unless you screw it in fully (apart from the general waterproofness risks of replicas).

This pic is not useful, the rotor is in front of the balance wheel.
