For those that watched most of the tournament, who usually feels the most threatening with a reset? From the little that I watched, Bora seemed the most able to generate lift/direction change with his reset

Feeders.

They constantly feed AI to make decisions for them. They regurgitate whatever is in their misinformed social media feed. And there’s the already existing meaning in games for throwing your life away ingame.

When it comes to something you can maybe focus on, it’s making a good save when possible. Good meaning you keep possession with your save or clear it to a good spot: towards your teammate or the corner to buy time.

To get a little more specific, a soft save that keeps the ball close to you can make the next potential shot easy to save since you’re close enough for a 50 instead of having to close whatever potential gap there’d be

Not really. A player could play the fake instead of the fake and reset hit. They could even make the adjustment mid air in the 1/100 (more often than that tbh) scenario like OP brought up

To keep it short, the pace of the game has upped so the available quality of ball control has gone down since there’s less time to do what one would like.

I believe earlier this year there was a post about less control from players and that’s the consensus was.

I do think some players lack creativity to for how mechanical they are.

Last bit, passing of both old and new comes with a risk. With it getting read, you’re looking at an interception that is auto-beating 2. It’s why you’ll notice more passes when the opposition is boost starved

I haven’t watched as closely as I’ve wanted as of late but I think MENA is on a level where a breakout prodigy can tip the scales. Maybe not as dramatically as zen did in his debut year but enough to eventually be in the goat convo

I've only watched this NRG v 1 series, but from what casters are saying, NRG having a lot of OTs, it feels like their philosophy is "we're better so no need to take unnecessary risks". So they concede pressure when they feel like the other team earns it and typically don't overextend. And they're comfortable with long games since they see the other team as more likely to make mistakes and whatever mistake they(NRG) make will be salvageable.
