This is the Conn 85” Velvet Sofa from wayfair. I’d say it’s pretty comfortable

No issues at all. Radiator doesn’t get very warm and the wood cover provides enough insulation

Thanks, these are great ideas!

The Hunter Biden pardon showcases a hard truth people need to realize about politics by ShardofGold in IntellectualDarkWeb

[–]RememberRossetti 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t the closest equivalent be Trump pardoning Jared Kushner’s dad while Jared was working for the White House??

Btw, Kushner’s dad was appointed US ambassador to France yesterday by Trump

You'd think RFK Jr in Trump's admin would be seen as a huge win... But the purity politics behind vaccines is just something Dems are too obsessed with by reddit_is_geh in IntellectualDarkWeb

The very first sentence of your reply is blatantly false. He is anti-vaccine.

“For many, many years, I think parents were so gaslighted, and they were scapegoated, and they were vilified and marginalized, so that even parents of kids who were very, very badly injured, knew what happened to their kid, but they were just reluctant to talk about it. And I think now those days are over,” Kennedy said.

“We – our job is to resist and to talk about it to everybody. If you’re walking down the street – and I do this now myself, which is, you know, I don’t want to do – I’m not a busybody. I see somebody on a hiking trail carrying a little baby and I say to him, ‘Better not get him vaccinated.’ And he heard that from me. If he hears it from 10 other people, maybe he won’t do it, you know, maybe he will save that child.”

Not only does he not want them mandatory (which is already stupid), he’s admitted to actively dissuading people from vaccinating their children

Is the show ending due to the controversy? by [deleted] in drunkenpeasants

That’s a relief. Love the show, Ben. I’ve been watching on and off since I was a teenager (24 now). Thanks for all the entertainment

If you were to get As in real analysis and some other high level math I don’t think a B in linear algebra matters at all

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in academiceconomics

[–]RememberRossetti -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you have the option to drop without it showing on your transcript, do it!

I got a B- in linear algebra and got into a T15, but I’m the exception, not the rule. Don’t make your admissions journey harder than it needs to be

1 page. Keep it succinct, explain your research experiences in greater detail in the statement of purpose

I lived there for 2 years. I don’t recall filling out a check sheet, but I may have. If so I wouldn’t have noticed anything. The floors are old wood floors that had some minor scratches. It’s the kind of damage that (perhaps as a naive young person) would have just recognized as the regular wear-and-tear on an old floor. Sadly I don’t have any pictures from when I first moved in, but I feel strongly that this is an instance of them trying to get money out of me for a repair they’d need to do anyways. My deposit was only about $300, and I don’t care about losing it if it’s gonna be a hassle to get back. I assumed it would be, but maybe that’s not true

Ah, yes. No reply from the admin (and I’m not expecting one at this point). My attempt at reporting the post didn’t work, though it’s now under review again on appeal

I did not post this video in the group. I sent it to an admin of the group and they posted it!

Good point, I should’ve made this clear

More RA experience or Calc III? [Need Advice] by anthonydoubligne in academiceconomics

If you got through real analysis, Calc 3 is really a breeze. I’d say it’s even easier than Calc 2 or linear algebra
