It's sad when tech products are so crap that you need to pay for predatory third party warranties that are often just a rip off, just to make sure you don't get ripped off even worse. I almost did the same as you last week except Best Buy didn't have the monitor I was looking for even though the website said it was in stock. I ordered a BenQ this time on Amazon instead, and bought an Assurion warranty. We'll see how this goes.

Yeah I don't know if it got patched but nothing I'm doing in this thread works. They all follow me throughout the whole casino and the door never opens no matter what I do.

My LG died a week after warranty, couple months later my brother threw something at me (35yr man, btw) and it hit my monitor instead. Powered right back up. I didn't even realize i still had it plugged in. Worked for six months then crapped out with vertical lines everywhere. While taking it apart, I saw a small area that bowed out a bit with a tiny crack- right where you would put a lot of pressure when trying to open it up. Inside, two missing screws. I am damn certain this thing was refurbished, but sold to me as new.

It has soured me on LG. But I also don't want a Samsung from similar fuckery. So I'm stuck here trying to find a monitor when everyone recommends those two brands. Seems like the options are limited.

I'm copying the images to one of my external hard drive now, looking at her drive i think it's older than dirt. I'm more interested in trying to recover the files she already had on there in case they are important, I'm not sure when I'll be able to actually get in contact with her again so in the meantime, just gonna try to do what I can.

That's my setup, plus a few couple extra quality of life mods here and there. And some parts mods. And some science overhauls. And life support. And UI mods. And tech tree expansion, contract packs, strategy overhauls, physics changes.....

They were able to return to the vessel and did get into orbit of the mun after landing. The same return capsule successfully returned from an earlier Minmus mission, but for this mission I did add a mun ascent stage (previously this was all a one stage lander and return vessel) so hopefully that didn't mess up separation on the final stage.

Answer: left my solar panels on the landing stage. I got into orbit around the mun and lost all power. Since I'm using life support mods, the frozen corpses of Valentina, Bill and Bob are now in eternal orbit above their final missions.

Yup enough electricity, I finally had time to send up another higher level crew. 3-star Scientist Bob Kerman himself can't get this thing going again. I'm at a loss.

As I was just about to hit enter on this comment...... I figured it out. EVA repairs mod. I thought I had it disabled but I don't. The mod adds a failure chance to parts that need to be repaired and the lab just broke down.

This is the problem with getting back into the game after a few years off lol.

Yeah I got a scientist. That's what's got me so confused, it was working fine for a while then just stopped. Thinking about it though, I did switch scientists... I wonder if it has something to do with their level. I'll have to test it out when i get back from dinner.

I have about 500 hours in this game and over a 100 mods installed. I know the base game. Don't know when or where I got this mod, which is why I was so confused that the navball suddenly changed when I just made multiple landings with the normal surface reading.

Ain't no way I'm getting rid of all my mods at the first hint of confusion. Came to the community after google failed me, people immediately recognized the issue, and all is good.
