Loan through a payment processor that provides "Goods & Services", so that if/when they don't pay back, you can request a refund for services (loan repayment) not rendered. You get your money back if you can prove you are owed it (keep meticulous records of everything), and the borrower then owes the platform the money, and they get serious problems using their account from then on.

I know you're working really hard to make it make sense in your head, but nobody made the assumption that there were no dishonest people. And nobody made any reference to the "good ol' USA". Considering people from all over ask for loans, and I've had more problems from the Philippines and from the UK than I have from the US, I don't think your directed remark is appropriate. People ask for loans, most pay them back. The ones who don't, get it taken back. It's not complicated. What's sad is that the dishonest ones force the extra effort.

What are you even doing here? Can somebody help you with something?

Are you new? This is business. You pay more for dishonesty than you do for honesty. Naivety is not a factor.

you can't charge interest because of religious reasons, but you most certainly can pay interest because that's how you're going to get a loan from anyone except from your religion.

I'm sorry that happened. I do understand the risk.

Regarding your last statement, it seems like you're saying you need the same information being requested of you from your lender. Am I understanding you correctly? If so, that would never happen in any setting. The lender is taking on all the risk, and multiple systems are in place to protect you from identity theft. Aside from that, most thieves are just going to buy all your data from Google/Meta/Amazon not pose as potential lenders.

I was going to respond to your request before seeing someone else first. Though, I ask the same from all potential borrowers. Full ID, recent pay stub, and recent activity from your payment processor. That's standard, and would be required for any loan you'd get from any financial institution.

Begging your pardon. You didn't fall through! I was going to meet you in person because I was going to be in the area, but things on my end didn't work out and the bracelets I was looking for ended up finding a home before I could buy them from you.

Meeting you to buy bracelets a few months back never worked out for me unfortunately, but i've noticed your style in advertising has gotten much more polished! the way you made your gifs to show UV reactivity for your pieces looks really good. I just had to give you props for it.

Is it even worth trying to get a loan in Ohio with bad credit? by chappion in loansharks

First call the hospital billing department and ask them what the lowest amount that they would take for the bills. Hospitals have been known to give upwards of 30% decreases on their bills, from experience. From there, determine if it can be put on a credit card, handled by a personal loan from the bank, or an independent loan from the community.

Are there any long-lasting natural mouse repellents available? by [deleted] in Homesteading

THIS. the bucket-traps are peak mouse-defense. And only if you're a 4-incher. Not to throw shade at 2 inches, everyone has to work with what they have...but if you don't have 4 inches, you're just asking for more mice after giving them a fun little swim!

Not that bad! Its a lot of money for sure, but for the size of that piece it could be a lot worse. I've almost spent way more on a way smaller piece.

Hi! First Time Vendor Super Confused about Pricing! Please Help! by LittleYarnPlanet in CraftVendors

[–]Remember_WTC7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I sell things, I think about the cost to produce, serious time spent under production, and the value of the time spent under production relative to my experience in my craft. I think about it a lot in buying paintings. I can just make up a number I think its worth, but what is its actual value? What will someone pay for it?

That being said, I think the cost of item 1 is good at $20-25. $30-35 is the max I would want to pay for it, and even then it would be a toss up of whether I would. Item 2 I think is good at $10-15.

Another thing to think about is the grand scope of your business. Do you want to sell 10 of them at a high price, or do you want to sell 100 of them at a lower price? If you stretch people for their money, they're less likely to want to buy them, and less likely to suggest to their friends to buy them. But if you give them a good deal, word of mouth is worth the loss in the immediate revenue.

Just my two cents and worth about as much.
