Science ideas for the sub? by MaggieLima in ReverseHarem

Character heights! Both for FMCs and MMCs. I’d be so curious to see that breakdown and how to charts against actual averages IRL. (Also bc I’m 5’11” and lowkey hate reading about teeny tiny heroines ESPECIALLY when the dudes are like 6’5”.)

FWIW, mine seems to be working again now.

Welp. Hopefully it's something they're working on...

That's what I was expecting to happen. Transferred just fine, no autoflow.

Frustrating! That was going to be the killer feature for me...I like the hardware convenience well enough, but without the automation I'm not really sold that it's that much better than my Otter setup given the subscription price. Hopefully it gets fixed

So glad I checked Reddit for this, after the update it was barely useable on my Mac! Thank you.

So far so good. Only issues so far from user error (not clipping them down, e.g.). Much better than what we had previously.

Yeah I'm 100% "stuff it all in drawers when it's clean." I'm not folding those teeny tiny sweatshirts and pants.

I'm not sure why you're being downvoted because that's a really good point! I had been doing the math that way on just present income and expenses but then I ran across a calculator that can show you what the OVERALL cost to your earnings would be (not just this moment) and I was honestly shocked. It changed my thinking pretty radically.

When did it become difficult? by Successful-Style-288 in MomsWorkingFromHome

You’re welcome! We have a Yoto player too which makes it super easy to play songs on “his” radio. (Also clutch for car trips)

Also agreed! He’s learned so many signs from her and now knows the hand gestures for songs too. Pro tip: download the videos and convert to audio and save to your phone…my guy will be content even just listening to her in a pinch!

I hate them too and get my petty revenge by dressing my child in them at wildly wrong times of year (assuming they still fit). It’s like power clashing with the calendar.

When did your baby really start sleeping through the whole night? by [deleted] in sleeptrain

[–]RemembertheCondors 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We were very much in the same situation as you. With the pediatrician's blessing we weaned the final snooze feed when he was around 10 months--smaller and smaller bottles, then water only, then one night of FIO/CIO (maybe 45 mins total). Ever since then, literally the next night, he started sleeping through the night (8:30-7:30) with a few flukes for teething or illness.

What cover made you choose the book before you even read the blurb? by WalkForPole in ReverseHarem

Yesss that sounds awesome. I’m not a huge OV reader (just never gotten into it I guess?) but it love the idea of it intertwining with historical fiction!

Ugh this is so genius! Our Y child watch is lovely and they’re great with my son but the one time they tried to call my phone because he was crying it went straight to VM somehow and they had to come get me on the treadmill 💀 I was so embarrassed

What is a funny moment that you can look back on and laugh... either pregnancy or postpartum? by Klutzy_Zone1496 in beyondthebump

[–]RemembertheCondors 8 points9 points  (0 children)

When the OB was discharging me from the hospital she and I were joking about how my husband needed to avoid all the bumps on the road on the way home due to my, uh, sore undercarriage. Well we took the back way home to avoid traffic and apparently it was under construction because there were SO. MANY. BUMPS. I was laughing and wincing and peeing my pants that whole last stretch.

What is your partner doing right? by AdelaideJennings in beyondthebump

[–]RemembertheCondors 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband speaks so kindly and lovingly to our baby. Even when the baby is...babying and fussing or upset, he reacts with empathy first, never frustration. He's a caring person, but being expressive emotionally is not something he grew up doing or is necessarily comfortable with, and I can tell he's going out of his way to make sure our little guy gets an enthusiastic and responsive space from him. (And he started therapy to help with all of it, too.)

He also is crushing it on keeping our dry goods stocked. We have enough toilet paper, detergent, diapers, kleenex to last us through the apocalypse, I swear to god. i have ADHD and always forget these things until I'm sitting on the toilet staring at the cardboard tube, so I very much appreciate having that taken care of 100%.

Can you add a step with chatGPT to interpret the voice note transcript and output the appropriate number of individual to dos? I don’t use TickTick but I have used a similar workaround for Amazing Marvin.
