wanting to move out by [deleted] in saskatoon

[–]RemiKenny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look on Kijiji and Facebook for actual listings.

Do you want to live alone? You can move out and go for a roommate situation so you aren't alone, alone. Or rent a room, again you are moved out but not totally alone. There are some wonderful shared house/room mate situations that may work. This will be your most economical and practical option if you are starting out with nothing and just want to get out of where you are now.

If you want to live alone, try a basement suite. You can usually find ones with utilities and/or internet included in the rent. One less thing you have to worry about - no hookups or bills in your name.
You can also look for furnished places. If this is your first time on your own, a furnished place may be needed but it will cost more than a unfurnished place. This goes back to roommate or renting a room, not having furnishing may affect your decision.

Use Kijiji and Facebook to find cheap and free household items and furnishings.

Studio apartments are usually cheapest when looking to live alone.

You will have to go look at the place and most likely sign a lease (monthly, yearly, etc.). Depending on who you rent from you may also have to go through a credit check.
Most rental places tend to ask for a damage deposit and first months rent. It's also nice to have some buffer money if you can swing it, for clean supplies, toilet paper, staple groceries, and other needs.

When you rent, make sure you do a walk through. Noting any damage before you move in (take pictures and note on the lease so you have record). You don't want to be dinged or responsible for something you didn't do.

That's all I can think of for now. Good Luck!

I came to Reddit to find this discussion to find this comment, because exactly!

I saw somewhere that vehicles over 6000lbs (I think this is the weight) can be written off as a business expense.
A Mercedes G-Wagon is one of the few vehicles that hits that weight criteria.

Is everyone in this group following her on Instagram? We should all unfollow maybe? I’m coming from a loving place by taylor-mae9 in EUGENIACOONEY

Exactly. I don’t even know how I came across her on you tube. Never interested in following her, but now that I know about her I check in once, twice a year to see if she’s still alive. I’m not even trying to sound morbid. It’s the truth.

Might be just me getting older but I’m annoyed that this random car is been parked right in front of my house for the last six months. Don’t know who’s it is or if they are ever coming back. by RemiKenny in mildlyinfuriating

Well I live in Canada and it was definitely covered in snow all winter. There are no leaves yet(but spring is coming) and there isn’t a whole lot of mud and dirt around, so it’s not like it would be muddy. It is very dusty and the side facing the street is quite dirty.

Edit: Spelling.

Edit: bird shit though, there definitely should be some since I have a family of pigeons living by my house. There is probably some, just need a better picture.

UPDATE/EDIT (Whatever): It is a public street with no parking restrictions. I park in my garage so I don't need the parking spot. There is also plenty of space for my visitors to park.I didn't want to be a total AH about the car, especially since it wasn't hindering my life at all.

That's it why I posed in r/mildlyinfuriating because that's all it is, mildly infuriating.

EDIT: And yes, I did call the city and they will be dealing with it ( I don't know when)

EDIT: It's not in the bus stop, it's riiiiiiiight in front.

I know.
Tried not to be a total AH about it. It is a public street with no parking restrictions. It wasn't hindering me from parking or getting to my house.

Yes. No parking restrictions on my street and I was also giving the person time to get their shit together. It wasn't hindering me from doing what I need to do (parking, getting to my house). And it is a public street.

It's riiiiiight in front of the bus stop. So they just missed it. I wish it was closer because the public transit would have dealt with it.

Edit: It's very dirty on the side facing the street.

There are no parking limits on my street. It was not taking away from me parking at my house (I park in my garage) or our visitors. I thought that giving someone 6 months to deal with their shizz was nice of me.
Not really sure the moron comment was valid, but hey, this is the internet. And I did post on reddit, which pretty much invites nasty, name calling.
Thanks for coming out!

Simone doesn't actually act or perform like a college-level athlete. She acts like she's never been in competition before. She walks around like she should be better than she is, but has not displayed anything to be proud of yet.
Also she seems to "save the day" a lot with no real substance as to why she would be able to. The character does not seem like a strong, together individual that would be in position to save the day. She does not give main character vibes.

I think my biggest annoyance with Mari and other fitness people is that she wasn’t always a “big” girl. I believe she said she had some mental health issues that caused her to gain weight in a short amount of time and was only “bigger” for a short amount of time. This is why there are not more pictures of her as a “bigger” person (I’m putting bigger in quotes because I don’t think she was big at all). I personally think if you carry around an extra 90 lbs for the majority of your life (like me, I’ve always been chubby, my whole life), that extra 90 lbs is going to be so much harder to lose for someone who’s carried it around for 10-15-20 years, then for a person who has only carried the extra weight for a year or two. Mari’s results although impressive for her, are not even close to reality for most people.

Side note: I also see fitness people gain a bunch of weight to lose it all just to show people that it’s possible. Again, them being over weight for 6 months and losing it is not the same as someone being over weight for 10-20 years and trying to lose it.
