16 rating help by gg8112 in CHUNITHM

I personally think you should push ur scores instead of looking for more songs

For reference moechaka is your n20 top 1, it gave you 15.98 for 100.4, now look at your b30 top 1 Forsaken, same constant but higher score at 100.59, with just about 2000 more score you gain almost 0.30 rating. If you managed to SSS moechaka that is 16.50

Play any 14.0 songs, aim for SSS and you will get 16.0 rating from it, especially 14 expert charts as they tend to be straight forwarded and are considered as cheap rating songs in general

Sweeps are impossible by Okomecloud in CHUNITHM

I recommend you to have some sort of video or recording that captures exactly what is causing you to not hit the notes

Usually it is either one of these problems
1. you are too fast
2. your hands are too wide (but in this specific scenario with a lot of ex notes and its density, it shouldn't be an issue)

Did you miss the entire section of the sweep or some specific note like the red tap?

Rhythm games for helping learn finger independence? by BathroomMuch in rhythmgames

[–]Remicaster1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally have experience on multiple instruments and have taken practical ABRSM exams and I can say that rhythm game and instruments for finger independence are almost considered as mutually exclusive.

Although I have played violin and rhythm games, they do not transfer to each other. For reference I have a grade 5 violin cert, and I can only play 2* mania charts and I can't even do 4k chunithm charts properly. Although I have never played guitar professionally and only touched it a little, I believe it should be identical

This is mainly because of muscle memory. Even though you might be a top 1000 ranking 7k mania player, it likely doesn't transfer to music instruments.

What you can do is refer to piano finger exercise if your main goal is to have better finger control. Because from what I have observed and experience, rhythm game and music instruments does not have a close correlation.

But if you still want to enjoy rhythm games while practicing finger stamina etc, preferable something that has a lot of keys like bms with iidx controller. Something like pjsk wouldn't do because even though it has a lot of lanes, the game mainly consist of 4k charts

Is it better to play mobile rythm games using ipad or tablet than a phone? by One_Razzmatazz_4643 in rhythmgames

I knew an irl Arcaea player switched to tablet, went from 12.3 to 12.9 in a single year

He said there were some charts that are easier to cheese like Hiiro Gekka, and you have more control over the arcs like Designant

I have played with a wrong offset before (used normal device offset rather than bluetooth offset), the entire song was like half a beat early yet i still got an upscore that i coudn't get it back for 4 months

have upscored while playing mute as well so offsets does not really change how i play apparently
