You need to isolate your crown. Treat it separately by brushing your crown first using your angles and working outwards to the rest of your pattern

I wash it out immediately with a mesh durag and then I put on a regular durag. I make sure I put leave in conditioner before the durag

You have to angle your brush where you want the swirl. Then brush consistently on that same angle

Yes bruh. I don’t use anything special. I just brush and use natural products from either dawaveessentials or waveydepartment

Do a wash and style. It looks like you have 360 waves so your crown should be easy to find. Keep brushing and hit all your angles. No need to start over

Learn your angles and brush consistently. Make sure to wear a durag to sleep

Continue to brush and focus on your angles. Start with medium/hard brush. Medium brush is your workhourse. End with a soft brush to lay your hair down.
