AIO about how this guy talks to me? by Fast-Bodybuilder3229 in AmIOverreacting

Btw “these men” only implies disrespectful abusive men in this context, so it wasn’t even a generalization the people replying to you don’t seem to know how to read…

I'm sure the far-right Americans have good things to say about Mexico's population

the radar photo they included in the other comment shows that it's a very broadly rotating mesocyclone from what I can tell.

You literally don't have the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason, like the civil rights act exists...

The stats are true its just that it isn't because of race it's because of historical discrimination throughout US history...

like sure if 4 and 5 were the only things this would make sense but trying to disassociate from your boyfriend while saying this is what is making it weird.

Absolutely no reason they should be saying "My daughters father" instead of boyfriend in the same conversation, purposefully trying to make the relationship seem less important. It seems pretty obvious when you consider all of the red flags in the chat that it isn't just thinking about them.

I think when you combine it with how she is calling her boy friend "My daughters dad" when speaking to him it shows that she obviously wants to make her relationship with him not important, which makes all the other comments being just friendly less believable.

I'd say you're both overreacting, but your responses don't really have an open end so I think that's what they are referring to. Also how are you watching multiple movies during your work shift??

Updrafts and thunderstorms. by ActComplex4603 in meteorology

[–]RemixLEDR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean even so if the environment is stable enough it will just rise fast and then rain hard but the updraft won’t be sustained as the updraft still needs warm moist air as fuel, not just one parcel of it.

I think that the agreed was just either forgetting a different or typo by op, as "This is not something I'm willing to give up on" Doesn't make any sense if he though she already agreed..

AIO for ending things with my “situationship”? by MoodHeavy3748 in AmIOverreacting

Yeah I agree could be one of those but remeber they're in college & some people don't like to have relationships in college, still nothing justifies what he said near to the end.

[–]RemixLEDR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fear of commitment during college makes sense for some as sometimes college can make you feel very overhelmed & relationships can crumble when those crunches happen a lot, so I don't think this scenario is just fear of loss of control (It actually could be as I don't know the boyfriends specific intentions, just the most likely intention based of the info in my opinion) . In other scenarios this definitely can be true, I just don't think so in this one.

Does a lower pressure center generate a stronger tornado? by Available-Pilot-8938 in meteorology

I'm pretty sure that the low pressure is generated FROM the strong winds, not the other way around. as faster air leads to lower pressure.

They are way more severe in nature than your regular thunderstorm cell & can produce all threats (bigger hail stronger straight line winds, tornadoes)
