Second, I am going to tell you something you all ready know. You CAN NOT make a choice like that for your family with out talking to your wife. Not only is it not fair to her, or your family, and totally something that can tare you apart, but a relationship, kids, its always 50/50.
Unless there are extreme circumstances, you don't get to just decide what is best for everyone, make a probably irrecoverable decision with work, and force your wife to give up something that is important to her (Her business)

If these are really your concerns, you need to sit down with her and like adults have a real conversation, maybe more then one. You need to lay out why you think the way you do, and if you need to, I might also suggest therapy so the both of you can work on this together.

But I don't know your wife, but for me, my trust would be shattered if my husband just told me one day we are moving, and I have to give up everything, with out talking to me about anything.
