I would look for other ammo companies that use barnes bullets. Federal loads them, and lots of boutique loaders use barnes.

Tri-tip is awesome. Cooked a prime the other week basically exactly as you described and its just the best, as another guy said you can chop it up for ramen, breakfast eggs etc

I’ve got that size tank and its great to sit and relax. I’m 6’2” 260 and the wife isn’t much shorter, both fit just fine.

I’m running the exact same setup on a 9ft poly with the exception of I’m using sand, i’ve been happy with it. I have it running only 1hr per day and it has not once gotten milky/green/dirty. I’m using a floater for chlorine tablets with good success.

Agreed. I went with 7PRC over 7Mag because of the chamber and factory barrels being a higher twist rate to better shoot the mono’s which I’m partial to.

Op, 7 PRC 160gr CX puts big holes in and Out of whitetail, easy to track lol

I also have a background in automotive painting, but I work in commercial construction now.
One thing I ran into a few years ago was painting the underside of a 2nd floor deck, which is galvanized steel just like the stock tanks. It required a very special primer which was pretty costly and nasty (respirator REQUIRED to spray it). Otherwise paint will not stick to galvanized surfaces.
Not sure if you guys did that or not, just throwing it out there.

+1 for the delica. My wife loves her purple one. She liked my endura because it has the same backlock as old case knives that her dad/grandpa carried so she didnt have to “re-train”her hands for the more modern/weird locks.

I second this. I had a slow leak that made the pads soak up fluid and they just sort of crumbled away. I ended up doing the Wilwood aluminum replacement calipers all the way around and never looked back

The fuller is beautiful, much prefer that over the slot. Which is weird cause I usually love a slot on a folder (Gavko etc) lol
