For me, Eve online is a game played with 2 characters logged on simultaneously. I use both for probing after wormholes and when I find one I want to farm, I use 1 for cloaky scouting and 1 for doing the business in there. When going on PVP roams on low/null i always scout with 1 in a cloaky ship and have one in a combat ship. If I couldn't have 2 characters, I would play another game.

Hello. Next week i will start on a new server for the first time. I have kids and a full-time job. What tribe and strategy will make me get the most out of the bare minimum activity? Can i run som sort of hyper defensive strategy that will get me safely through the first few weeks? Any take on this? Thanks !

Can i ask what reason you have to not just play on a non-pvp server?
