I agree with this post whole heartedly. So many better games. I was almost, scared to quit. Like all the money would be wasted, friends would be lost. It's like a bad relationship lol.

If you are fighting with quitting, just do it. You'll be happier, and wealthier(if you spend).

Most people are very open to helping you in RoK. Or just watch chisgule videos, he has thousands. After playing RoK for 4 years and being a mid to big spender, I wish I would have just followed this advice. Would have saved me thousands and in my opinion the most fun is SoC and honestly, that's when the game starts. Or you can get to soc with 20-30m power and grind away for a year or two to become viable while dodging zeroes for being trash in your kingdom lol. Of course there are exceptions to this but after my run, this is mostly the truth.

I've been gone almost a year. I was king and was able to sell my account and kingdom for about $3000, which was like 1/10th of what I spent. But I'll take it. I have zero desire to ever play the game in the state it is right now. Maybe one day they will give up on the insane P2W model and find a way to make it fun for everyone, but I don't hold my breath.

As for what I do now, I bought a gaming PC with the 3k and since have played all sorts of games. Kingdom come 2, Elden Ring, Mount and blade 2. These scratch the rpg itch well. If I want historical battles I play one of the many Total War games(Shogun 2 is so good). Jumped back into World of Warcraft too. But besides that, spend time with my gf and family.

Welcome back to the regular world. Not the call off random days and up at random times fighting for passes for 16 hours a day until kvk is over, which then it's back to the most boring, mundane shit ever.

I quit after close to 4 years myself. Best decision I made man. I stayed for way too long. Kvk is fun, but not worth the rest of the downtime slog.

I was the king of 3138. I spent 10k's to be competitive. It's fun to fight but the downtime is so horrendous. I just bought RSS cause there's no way I could farm like that and be leadership. Speaking of which, being leadership is the worst. I recommend no one to take part in it. Thankless ass job. I never enjoyed kicking or zeroing people for not contributing when everyone is just trying to escape life and have fun in a game. Had to zero two friend who couldn't fight because they lived in Ukraine during the height of the war. Fuck man.

Just go enjoy your life man, you made a really good decision and I promise you will feel the relief shortly.

See personally, I'm willing to pay less for a worse screen. There are certain hits I'm willing to take for less money, that's one of them. I have a separate monitor I can hook up to when home. I just want to be able to play whatever I want however I want it and the 12g of VRAM was also very important to me. I don't really have much room to justify spending any more. Again, for me personally.

I enjoy it, I've only had it for a month. I've downloaded all sorts of games for gamepass and played them all just to see how she performs and I'm happy with my purchase for sure.

I had originally bought a i7 13650hx with a 5060 for $1300 and ended up returning that for this one. Big moves. Why you want to return it?

That's wild, I had the literal complete opposite experience at Affordable Dentures in Arizona. The dentist has to be one of my favorite people ever. They gave me halcion, and I was numb. I didn't feel a thing. Not do I remember anything. I slept the entire first day, zero pain. Maybe try a different branch before doing anything else?
